SIBEX Sports Signs US Top Distributor BTI
for Titanium Forks

Colorado Springs, Colorado. July 20 2004

After a Strong cyclocross season and a glowing review in the July issue of Mountain bike Magazine SIBEX Sports has come to the front and signed BTI to distribute their titanium cyclocross, 29er and MTB forks to local bike shops all over the country.

Scott Mares owner of SIBEX Sports met with the CEO of BTI Preston Martin in June and worked out a deal that would give BTI the right to distribute the Titanium forks to its dealer’s nation wide. “The reason we chose BTI is because they were close to us geography and they also started the same way we did. “ “They have a huge network of dealers and are steadily growing each year.” Scott Mares.

About the Forks
The forks are available in 2 configurations, box and unicrown. The Box crown is available in several braking configurations to suit any brake setup. This also includes 26 or 700c/29er versions. The fork comes with standard 7cm of horizontal width for plenty of tire & mud & snow clearance.

The Unicrown is strictly a cyclocross fork (700c) and has a classic tapered legs. Marc Gullickson and Travis Brown were both on the forks last year and had a great cyclocross season. The forks are very light and supple, the box crown fork weighs in at 600 grams and the unicrown fork is slightly less. Both forks are made out of aerospace grade 3/2.5 titanium and carry a lifetime warranty. The forks retail between $385 and $400 depending on features.

Largest US Distributor QBP to carry SIBEX Titanium Forks

Interbike gave a lot of the Industry the opportunity to come and look and feel the SIBEX titanium forks. With the culmination of the review in the July issue of Mountain bike Magazine and the recent signing of BTI. Quality Bicycle Parts has signed up as well. QBP is the largest parts distributor in the US. This will give easy and quick access to SIBEX Titanium forks to every bike shop in the United States.

Scott Mares owner of SIBEX Sports attempted to meet with the buyers of QBP at Interbike. However, Both companies were so busy they could never get away to meet. Brad Crosby the buyer for QBP had a hard time deciding which ones to carry and in what configuration. “SIBEX has the ability to offer the forks in just about any configuration it took us a couple of days to figure out what our customers wanted”.
